Nick Tanzi- President & CEO, GPX Global Systems, Inc.

Nick Tanzi is President &CEO of GPX Global Systems, Inc., a private carrier-neutral Data Center provider focused on emerging markets in Africa and South Asia.

Prior to GPX Nick was President and CEO of Metromedia Fiber Networks (MFN), where he was responsible for selling the metro dark fiber assets developed by the company. During his tenure at MFN, he revolved the company‘s strategy to include new classes of services such as WaveChannel, Gigabit Ethernet and IP/Optical services to sell to enterprise and carrier customers. Nick also helped the company develop its Internet Services business to expand the value of the company‘s fiber assets. He did this through the acquisition of companies such as Abovenet Communications, PAIX, and SiteSmith.

Before joining Metromedia in 1998, Nick was VP for Sales and Marketing of Fujitsu America‘s Fiber Optics Products Division that was responsible for selling into the US carrier market. Prior to Fujitsu, Nick had a 17-year career with Digital Equipment Corporation starting as a network engineer and rising to become the General Manager of the Network Services Group.

Robert Vona- Chief Financial Officer, GPX Global Systems, Inc

Robert Vona is GPX Global System’s Inc.’s CFO and brings more than 25 years of experience to the company being responsible for the company's accounting, tax, and financial activities.

Prior to joining GPX in 2006, Robert was Managing Partner of Vona&Vona LLP, CPAs where he was responsible for overall firm performance and client service to numerous corporate clients on a broad range of accounting and tax matters. Additionally, Robert consulted many clients on corporate acquisitions, dispositions, operational consulting and compliance matters. Robert was also a Senior Tax Associate with Coopers & Lybrand LLP, where he was a member of the Financial Services practice in New York. In this role, he gained extensive experience in financial products, hedge funds, and tax structuring.

Robert is a CPA and received his B.S. in Accounting from New York University and MBA in Finance from Fordham University.

Rick Uhler- Chief Technology Officer & MD Egypt, GPX Global Systems, Inc.

As Vice President of Operations, Rick is responsible for the technical operations of the GPX Internet Exchanges worldwide. This includes all the data center infrastructure from the peering switch back, including power, HVAC, security, structured cabling, SDH network, customer installations, quality control, process and procedure development, and overall customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining GPX, Rick was Sales Director at Level 3 Communications responsible for marketing Level 3’s colocation, fiber optic, and capacity services to Verizon Inc. Previous to that Rick worked at MFN/Abovenet as VP of Global Program Management where he had responsibility for delivering fiber optic, data center colocation, and IP services to MFN’s largest customers. Prior to that, Rick was Manager of Network Engineering for AT&T Wireless where he had responsibility for the SONET/SDH, CDMA, and fiber optic networks.

Rick has a BSEE degree from Rutgers School of Engineering and a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry.
